Ah, the exquisite Rita Faltoyano. It doesn’t take any
kind of school learning to understand why so many millions of men the
world over fall into ecstasies at the mere mention of her name. How
many million men would love to merely be in the same room with her?
How many millions of men would love to be in our place as we interview
her? What does the actual Rita Faltoyano think about all that? Isn’t
it a little bit close to unthinkable?
Well. Fortunately for us, Rita is not merely one of the world’s most beautiful
women - she’s also a thinking person, and a very articulate one at that.
We know this interview will make all you men who are not already in love
with Rita fall in love with her on sight, and drive all you men who are already
in love with Rita Faltoyano into the territories of severe obsession. And
we think that would be entirely justified.
So, you’re famous, no?
I don’t know, I wouldn’t dwell on it too much. But ok,
we could put it that way. Anyway when I go to the festivals in Barcelona,
Berlin, and so on, everybody - anyway loads of people recognize me
and ask for my autograph -
And what do they say when they recognize you?
All kinds of crazy things. You know, they’ve only seen
me in films, and all of a sudden there I am standing in front of them,
and it’s unbelievable for them. And then as soon as I sign something
for them, there they are in front of me planting big kisses on my picture.
Weird. It’s a weird feeling. Because not so long ago, two years ago
I was just a Budapest girl among many. And now - well, it’s not so
bad like this, but you just can’t let it go to your head. I don’t let
myself feel like - whoo, I’m really somebody - I can’t let myself do
that.. Because you know tomorrow you could be waking up on a bench
in West train station.
The problem with a lot of girls is that they get big-headed, and from that
point onwards they say they won’t work for less than 10,000 dollars or some
idiocy like that, because they’re famous. And then, who knows - maybe tomorrow
nobody will be looking for them. That’s why there’s no point in getting carried
away.
It’s now just two years you’ve been in the business,
right?
It will be two years in march. March 13th to be exact
- that was when I worked for the first time.
How did that happen?
The first job? I started in eastern Hungary in a beauty
competition, in Debrecen. I won the second prize, and all the big Hungarian
TV stations were there - Hungarian channel 3, and RTL Klub, ... anyway
it was shown on TV3, and afterwards an agent called me up and said
he’d like to meet me and that the following week I could to go Paris,
to do some modeling. Topless photo shoot. - Well, so I went to Paris,
and they had a really hard time with me because I didn’t want to take
off my clothes. I was really shy.
And who was it in Paris by the way?
Pierre Woodman.
And he said it was topless only? Pierre Woodman?
Yeah, but, ... because, ... Pierre - ... well, he wanted
me to go to Costa Rica with him. But beforehand, there had to be something
to make me not - feel so shy. I didn’t want to take off my panties,
I didn’t want to take off my clothes. But he said, ‘Ah Rita, come on!’ You
understand me? And after, we went to Costa Rica -
OK, so you went to Paris, and there was Pierre Woodman,
and you thought you were going to do, like,
One photo set. A single photo set. And then go home.
But it didn’t work out that way.. I was crying. And then we went to
Costa Rica - we stayed three weeks down there. We shot a movie - I
did two scenes. I worked, and after I arrived back to Budapest, I thought, ‘no
way, I don’t want to work in the business ever again.’ I don’t know;
it was too much for me. I didn’t know what to do.
I did a lot of crying - but on the other hand it was good money. And people
started to call me, saying that they had good companies here in Budapest,
that they really wanted to work with me, because I am a beautiful girl...
Finally I took some work with Anabolic, and with Kovi, of Luxxx Video - and
all of a sudden it was like, every week I was working. I went to Venezuela,
Mexico, Paris, Holland, Amsterdam, the Canaries, many many countries. Stockholm,
Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, everywhere.
And do you ever think about how it could have been
different?
If I didn’t do this? Yeah, of course! I went to school
- fitness academy. But - well, in the beginning it was that the money
was damn good. Afterwards it was that - well, nowadays people don’t
really work with me because they want to put me in the movie like everybody
else. It’s more that everybody already knows my name, and now it’s
effectively because of my name that I work so much. Because they know
that a lot of people out there like me, and that the video sells a
lot better if I’m in the movie. ... You know, I’m going to Brussels
next week for the awards - photographers are calling me to ask if I’m
going, because I may get an award, I don’t know. ... I was so surprised
to find out that I’d been nominated. I was flattered! But a lot of
very nice girls will be there. Lots. Very big stars, you know, Czech
girls, Monika Sweetheart, Dani Ashe, lots of French girls ....
It’s all happened really fast for you, it sounds like..
Tell me about the last couple years of your life?
Well - after Costa Rica there was Anabolic, then I worked
with Kovi, you know, of Luxxx Video - Then after that there was some
work in Paris, and a whole lot of photos for Private magazine and Private
video. I did a cassette with Private, and the big moment for me was
really that at 23 years old, I had the cover of Private magazine, posing
with a big snake. A tiger python, very long - three meters, and 25
kilos, and very sweet. After, I thought, “oh my god; I’m on the cover
of Private with a snake!” I was really happy, because it was my first
cover. Afterwards there was a lot of work - that was about a year ago,
and since then I’ve been everywhere, Spain, Portugal, for photo shoots,
and seven times to Paris...
And all this time you’ve lived in Budapest, huh?
Yes, I live in Budapest - except that last summer I lived
in Spain for a few months. I did some work in Barcelona, and last year
in October we went to the Barcelona festival, and I did a couple strip
shows, and a couple live shows - met people, gave autographs and everything.
Then I was in Berlin for the festival there - to do signatures and
everything - and then in December I was working on the Gladiator movie.
That was really funny because the casting director called me on the
last day of the casting to go in to meet them, because they’d never
seen me in person; only in pictures. And then, the director told me
just like that: OK, you’re starring in the movie. What a surprise!
I was happy ...
But afterwards the shooting was really shit because it was so cold. It was
like 2 degrees, 3 degrees Celsius, and we were all in Gladiator costumes,
nothing but togas ... It was a really nice production of course, great clothes,
makeup, hair, very good actors, very good people - but the shooting was terrible
because of the cold. You know, speak speak, but afterwards shooting the scene
is good because you move and so you’re not so cold.
In January I was in bed at home for two weeks, and I went to the doctor,
because of the cold, on the inside of my pussy, you know?
So it never stops.. Lots of work. But you still live
at home? You live with your parents?
Yes I live with my mother. That’s good because my mom
washes my clothes, she always helps me, and there’s never any trouble
- I go home to sleep, and afterwards I go to work.
She knows what you do? She knows about your job?
Only the photos.
She doesn’t know about the movies?
No, no! Oh my god, no, are you joking? If my mom knew
I was working in porno, oh, I would be crying! Later I’ll talk with
my mom, but not now!
And if you win an Oscar, then?
Yes but in Hungary I never give interviews to newspapers,
there are a lot of things I never do. Because what would be the point?
No no, only in other countries. Hungarians can be difficult people,
you know? They would say, ‘you are a bitch’ - why? Because I’m in the
business? I’m not a bitch!
Do people ever tell you that? Are you known in Hungary?
No, no, no. Here people only know I’m a nude model. Only.
The rest they don’t know about.
No, no. But last year in Cannes the Hungarian TV network
RTL Klub wanted an interview with me. I told them I was very sorry,
but I didn’t want to give an interview. What for? I don’t want there
to be commercials on Hungarian TV saying what I do. Anyway it inevitably
happens that somebody will see some of it. And then it will be, ‘Ah
- Rita Faltoyano who used to be in all the men’s magazines. The porno
girl...’
And where does this name come from, Faltoyano?
I don’t know - I like it. In the beginning, when I was
in Costa Rica, there were a whole bunch of magazines, and I looked
at the names of people who were in films, Spanish, Italian films, And
I wrote down 9 stage names. The thing with Faltoyano was, you can be
sure nobody in the business is called that! Everybody is Taylor, Moore,
you know.
You actually look kind of Italian.
Yeah, lots of people thought that in Berlin too. They
would ask Are you Italian? I’d say, no. ‘No,’ they’d say - ‘but Rita,
isn’t that an Italian name?’
And what do you say in that case? That you’re Hungarian?
Of course! It’s my mother-tongue and country. I would
never deny it ever! I even came across people who knew what Gulyas
is, and what Hortobagy is, unbelievable. And there we were in the middle
of Berlin - And they knew what strong paprika was, …
It’s funny that everybody knows Rita Faltoyano is
a Hungarian girl, but your mother doesn’t.
Ah, I know, but later she will. But for the moment I’d
rather that she didn’t know.
And did you study? Do you have friends from school
at all?
Some, but I don’t keep up much connection with them.
It was that after school people just wanted to finish. There are still
some of my school friends were still around, but it’s often like that
for people - there you are. No no, nowadays mostly I know a lot of
people through work, and then, I also hang out with my brother a lot.
He’s 11 - we play football, or listen to music, I’m with him a bunch.
When I have time.
How old are you?
11. Oh, me? I’m 23.
You’re 23 and he’s 11? So then you have lots of 11-year-old
boyfriends, no? Who are totally in love with you..
No, -- ahh, my little brothers. But I’m not a boy! ...
So you’ve been in this business for two years now.
It sounds like you know more people who know you from inside the
business than from outside. Not many people are left who knew you
before, no? What happens when you run into those people? Do you ever
run into them?
Yes, I don’t like to talk about this with them - I don’t
like to talk about my work with people who aren’t in it, because their
way of thinking is totally different. Their logic doesn’t cut the same
way. If I talk to them about a scene, they say, ‘Jesus, Oh my god,’..
- But it’s just work. I just go to work, say hello, I am this, you
are that, we work together, after you go home, I go home, just like
that. And afterwards I get to go to the newsagent’s, see myself in
print and say “oh cool!” That’s all.
But for outsiders - I don’t like trying to talk about it with them, because
they don’t get it, they can’t parse it.. And what for? I don’t pay attention
to them. They just have a different mentality. They go, “oh - my god, ah,
ah,” they’re always amazed at it. And no doubt me too, if I were them I would
be going, “oh my god.” But I’m in it, so for me it’s a natural thing. For
me there’s nothing to it. That’s logical!
Now, we’re sitting here having this conversation, 15 thousand people can
come and go and it doesn’t bother me. Because I’ve done plenty in front of
15 thousand people - I’ve done live shows in front of 15 thousand people
- it doesn’t bother me anymore.
Well, you say that it’s not a problem anymore, but
it still is, because you don’t like to talk to them about it.
Yes: for example, sometimes if I go to the ocean or the
beach with my boyfriend, I don’t want white here, or here. I want brown.
I want my body brown. But my boyfriend says, “Oh Rita, don’t take off
your bikini because everybody will see!” I don’t care, personally.
But no, it’s not possible, because everybody else is wearing a bikini.
How can I be the only one who takes it off? Impossible. You understand
me? Because for me it’s not important if somebody sees my body. I like
it! Yes.
Of course! (laughter.) Is that new since you’ve been
doing this work, or was it like that before?
Before! before, oh, never. I used to be so shy that I
would go into the to take a shower, and if my mom opened the door I
would scream, ‘Ah Mom! Go go go!’
Really?
Yes! But now I’ve changed.
So when you started in this business you were 21?
21, Yes.
You were in Debrecen?
No! Budapest. It was just that one beauty contest that
was in Debrecen. That was because my ex-boyfriend lived in Debrecen,
and he was always telling me I should try out for beauty contests.
I used to to a bunch of beauty contests. After I got that second place
in Debrecen I went to one boobies beauty contest in Amsterdam -
What kind of beauty contests are these? I don’t understand.
Boobies beauty contest. It’s only for breasts. But I
think it’s really about everything - you know, if a girl doesn’t have
a nice face or not nice legs, only boobies, I think she wouldn’t win.
You know, because everything counts. But boobies are important, OK.
Anyway, last year, I was in Amsterdam to work, and people said to me, ‘oh,
next weekend there’s a booby beauty contest in Rotterdam. You want
to go?’ Why not? Sure. So I went, and there were 19 girls, very nice
girls - Czech girl, Dutch girl, Swiss girl, one from Stockholm, a whole
lot of really good girls - And after, I got back from Amsterdam, I
started going to Galas again. You know how those work? Three rounds
- the first has four contestants, the second has four, the third has
four. 12 girl Gala. And - whoo- I got first place -
>i
No, no. Jeep. Yes. First place. I was very happy.
You still drive it? You have it here?
No, I don’t even have a license! My dad has it. Because
I don’t have any time, you know - every week I’m off to another country.
Ok, I’ll take driving lessons the next time I stay here for two months,
but I hope that won’t be this summer!
So your dad is driving this car, and he says to his
friends, my daughter won it because she has the best boobies in Europe!
Yes - and before here in Hungary I used to go to a lot
more beach, swimsuit contests all the time, for one, two three days
at a time. But now I don’t go so often. Only now and again for kicks.
About sex, do you think you’ve changed there too?
I mean of course you have, because before you’d only had two boyfriends,
you said, and now...
Of course! Everything. Absolutely everything has changed.
Before I was a very quiet girl. Now - oh, my god. But I like it much
better now! I like it when I work - I like it when the director tells
me ‘OK, Rita, here is the camera..’ I like this camera because when
I work, I don’t work with the boy. I work with the camera. And many
many people don’t know what a difference that is. They think a good
set involves a very good boy very good girl da da da very good. Yes
- good work - it’s very important to have a nice boy and a nice girl.
But, sorry, this is work. After a lot of people are going to buy the
cassette, you understand?
So you like the camera. It feels good to have the
camera on you?
And afterwards to go home and fuck fuck fuck with no
camera. ... It’s not the same at home. No! Because then you don’t have
to worry about whether the camera can see my leg, my boobies and everything.
Yes... but I like to play with the camera.
At home too?
Ha ha.. yes!
And afterwards you can sell them. And then they turn
up on the Internet..
No, no. But sometimes my boyfriend takes a camera in
the room. No no no, I don’t like that - because then I know the camera’s
there and I play with it. Maybe if I didn’t know the camera was there
it would be better. ... But yes, everything’s changed. I’m open. But
I think everybody’s open who’s in the business!
There’s a whole lot more of this interview we simply
didn’t have the space to print - and Rita has a whole lot more to say
for herself than even we could commit to a single interview! We’re
honored to have been able to serve as her mouthpiece (and hey, it wouldn’t
be so bad to put our mouth to her piece either!) But we hope this look
inside her life has been transforming for you as much as it was for
us, and we hope that you’ll be coming back for more - almost as much
as we hope that she will!
With all the devotion in the world, Best regards from
your siblings in worship
